Mount the hook and start the thread, laying a base to the bend.
Bind a tan foam strip at the bend with the tag pointing back, then dub a thin underbody forward to the 60% mark.
Fold the foam over and lash it at the 60% mark for the rear segment, then tie in a splayed pair of sili legs.
Stack a small elk-hair wing on top, tips reaching the bend, and bind it firmly.
Dub a short front underbody, fold the foam forward and bind at the 85% mark, then add the front pair of legs and a short orange poly tuft for visibility.
Whip finish under the front foam and cement; go light on dubbing so it floats high.
