Antron or Simi Seal dubbing for the trailing shuck White laser dub (A tiny amount)
Flat Mirage tinsel Opal mirage tinsel medium (One small strip for the rib)
Dubbing Caddis green (Enough for a slim body)
Fine deer hair Natural deer hair (A pencil-lead-thick clump for the wing case)
Hackle Brown grizzly hackle (One small feather for the legs)

How to tie it
Start the thread and tie in a tiny wisp of white Antron at the bend as a trailing shuck, no more than a third of a shank long; bind the butts down and bring the thread forward.
Tie in a short strip of flat Mirage tinsel at the bend for the rib.
Wax the thread, spin a thin caddis green noodle and wind a slim body forward to about the 70% point, adding dubbing a little at a time. Clip off any long straggly fibers so the body stays skinny.
Wind the Mirage tinsel forward over the body in four or five evenly spaced turns and snip it off at the front.
Stack a small clump of fine deer hair (about half a pencil's thickness), measure the tips back to the rear of the body, and tie it in on top at the front of the abdomen with a couple of loose wraps, keeping it on top. Trim the butts and build a small thread platform for the hackle.
Prepare a small brown grizzly hackle: strip the fibers from the base, leaving a stub on each side of the stem for the thread to grip. Wax the thread on both sides, tie the feather in and bring the thread forward.
Take about four turns of hackle for the legs, tie it off and trim.
Trim the hackle fibers off the top of the fly to make a channel, then fold all the deer hair forward over the thorax as a wing case and secure it with a couple of wraps, plus a few more in front.
Whip finish twice, fold the bulk of the deer hair tips back and trim the remaining short front pieces down so they do not block the eye. Snip the thread.
