Classic Recipe

  • Hook Standard dry fly, 18-22
  • Thread Olive 8/0

Materials

  • Tail Dun hackle fibers (split)
  • Body BWO olive dubbing (thin)
  • Wing Natural cdc feathers (2-3 puffs)

How to tie it

  1. Mount hook, start thread
  2. Tie in split tail fibers
  3. Dub thin olive body
  4. Tie in CDC feather puffs as upright wing
  5. Whip finish, no hackle, CDC provides floatation
