How to tie it
Start the thread at the eye, wrap back to the bend, and make about four turns of red cactus chenille as an anti-foul base for the tail.
Tie in the 3 in tan EP foxy brush and palmer it forward about ten or eleven turns, brushing the fibers back; tie off and trim the tail to a bullet-shaped baitfish profile.
Tie in a few strands of black Crystal Flash on each side as a lateral line, slightly longer than the tail.
Tie in the 1.5 in yellow/olive foxy brush and wrap it forward a few turns to add body color, then trim the wire.
Tie in the white foam gurgler strip where the foxy brush ends, and tie the yellow foam strip right on top of it, both pointing back over the tail.
Push the thread forward, tie in the 0.5 in white/chartreuse Wooly Critter brush, and palmer it forward to cover the shank, leaving tie-in room near the eye.
Fold the white then yellow foam strips forward over the top and tie them down near the eye with no gap, forming the raised gurgler lip; add mono eyes at the sides.
Lift the foam and take a few wraps underneath in front to prop the lip up, whip finish, then trim the white foam level with the yellow and bombproof the head with a little UV resin.
