How to tie it
Mount the heavy saltwater hook and lay a thread base along the shank.
At the bend, stack a sparse bunch of white bucktail top and bottom, add pearl flash, and build a baitfish taper. Bucktail sheds water and casts far easier than bulkier synthetics.
Move forward a third and tie a collar of white bucktail all around, then a top layer of chartreuse.
Add a final front collar of chartreuse bucktail spun and splayed around the shank to push water.
Sweep everything back, stroke it into shape, and add a few strands of flash each side.
Build a tapered thread head, whip finish, and coat with resin; set stick-on eyes and add a final resin layer.
