Materials

  • Flash Pearl flashabou (few strands crystal flash)
  • Body/collar 1 Pink ears (marabou)
  • Body/collar 2 Orange permanent marker (marabou)
  • Body/collar 3 Yellow mcflylon (marabou)

How to tie it

  1. Start thread about one-third of the way down the shank from the eye and tie in a few strands of crystal flash.
  2. Tie in a length of pink marabou by the tip and wind it around the shank like a collar hackle; secure and clear any trapped fibers.
  3. Tie in orange marabou the same way and wind it just in front of the pink; secure.
  4. Tie in yellow marabou and wind it in front of the orange to finish the collar; secure.
  5. Stroke all the marabou fibers back, build a small head, whip finish and cement.
