- Hook standard dry/nymph, 14-16

Materials
- Tail Wood duck (few fibers)
- Abdomen Gray-brown material (dubbing)
- Wingcase Gray razor foam mm (thin foam strip)
- Legs Brown silly legs nymph size (partridge fibers each side)
- Thorax Gray-brown material (dubbing)
How to tie it
- Mount the hook, start thread, and run to the bend.
- Tie in a short wood duck fiber tail, about half a shank.
- Dub a slim gray-brown abdomen to the 60% mark.
- Tie in a strip of gray foam at the 60% mark to fold forward as a floating wingcase. The foam bubble hangs the nymph right in the film.
- Tie in a few partridge fibers on each side as legs.
- Dub a thorax, pull the foam over as a wingcase, and tie it down behind the eye.
- Whip finish.
