Sparkle Caddis Pupa

• Hook standard wet/nymph hook, #12-#18
• Thread Brown 8/0

Materials

• Antron/sparkle yarn Amber, olive or brown antron/sparkle yarn (for overbody bubble)
• Dubbing Matching sparkle dubbing (for underbody)
• Deer hair Natural deer hair (sparse over-wing)

How to tie it

1. Start thread and tie in sparkle yarn fibers at the bend, reserving strands top and bottom.
2. Dub a sparkle underbody forward over the shank.
3. Pull the reserved Antron over the top and bottom to form a loose gas-bubble sheath around the body and tie off.
4. Add a few sparse deer-hair fibers as an emerging over-wing.
5. Whip finish behind the eye.
