Tyer Recipe
- Hook standard wet fly, 10-14
- Thread black 8/0
Materials
- peacock herl body Iridescent green peacock herl (2-3 strands)
- hair wing White uni stretch (sparse clump)
- hackle Brown hackle (1 feather)
How to tie it
- Start thread behind the eye and run to the bend.
- Tie in two or three peacock herls and twist into a rope; wrap forward to form a full body, stopping short of the eye.
- Tie in a sparse white hair wing over the body, tips reaching the hook bend.
- Wind a brown hackle collar in front of the wing.
- Build a small head and whip finish.
