Materials

  • Tail Pink ears (rabbit strip or leather)
  • Body Pink ears (spun and packed deer hair or pink foam)
  • Legs Pink/white rubber legs (2 pairs round rubber)
  • Ears Pink ears (2 small foam tabs)

How to tie it

  1. Mount the hook and start thread at the bend, then tie in a pink rabbit-strip tail about one and a half shank lengths long.
  2. Spin and pack pink deer hair forward in tight bunches (or slide on a pink foam body), packing hard for a dense floating body.
  3. Work in a pair of ear tabs near the front and figure-8 in two pairs of rubber legs along the sides.
  4. Trim the deer hair to a rounded mouse profile with a blunt nose.
  5. Whip finish at the eye and cement the head.
