Body/back Black closed-cell foam (2 layers, strip)
Underbody Black synthetic dubbing or peacock (small amount)
Legs Black/grizzly round rubber legs (2-3 pairs)
Indicator Bright poly or foam tab (white/orange) (small tab)
How to tie it
Lay a thread base and tie in a strip of black foam at the bend to form the segmented back/body; a second thinner layer gives the double-decked profile.
Dub a sparse black underbody, then pull the foam forward and tie it down in segments to create a couple of clear body segments.
Tie in black/grizzly rubber legs each side at the mid and rear segments for a leggy, buggy silhouette.
Add a bright poly or foam sighter tab on top for visibility, and finish the front foam segment as a small head.
Whip finish under the foam head and add a drop of cement.
