Seat the pink slotted tungsten bead against the eye, mount the jig hook, and start thread.
Wrap several turns of lead behind the bead to lock it forward and add weight, then cover with thread.
At the bend build a tri-color marabou tail one and a half shank lengths long: black underneath, then brown, then a thin fluorescent melon accent so the colors blend and pulse.
Tie in the UV straggle chenille and a bugger saddle hackle by the tip at the tail.
Wrap the chenille forward to just behind the bead and tie off.
Palmer the hackle forward in 4-5 open turns as a soft collar and secure behind the bead.
Whip finish behind the bead and add cement. Since it rides hook-up, bounce it through deep slots and holes on a jigging retrieve without hanging bottom.
