How to tie it
Seat the bead on the jig hook and dress the shank.
Tie in a black marabou tail at least one shank length, a touch longer is fine on a jig, keeping it clean and breathable; no flash mixed into the tail.
Tie in two strands of black holographic Magnum Flashabou on the side, then the black brassie wire; half-hitch.
Wrap the Flashabou forward to cover the body; tie it down.
Reverse-wrap the brassie wire over the body for durability, and don't cut it.
Lay a very sparse amount of black UV2 Seal-X across the thread (half of what looks right is plenty) and spin the remaining brassie wire into a tight dubbing brush; brush it out well.
Wrap the brush forward, preening the UV fibers back with each turn so they veil the flash body; pull the wire in tight behind the bead and tie off under heavy thread pressure.
Whip finish behind the bead and trim.
Pull all the fibers out with a bodkin, taking your time, then brush them back over the body.
