Figure-8 the 1/8" Gold Dumbell eyes on top of the shank behind the hook eye, wrap around underneath to tighten, and add a dab of head cement.
Take the Olive thread to the bend and tie in a clump of Green Damsel Marabou for the tail.
Lay two strands of dark olive UV Creepy Crawler Ice Dub along each side of the tail, doubled back. Two strands is all it needs.
Tie in the Semperfli Iridescent Blue Perdigon Body at the bend and half hitch.
Dub the Arizona Dirty Yellow Synthetic Peacock forward to behind the eyes for a spiky body; a dubbing loop keeps the short fibres perpendicular. Pull out any fibres that come loose.
Rib forward with open turns of the Semperfli Iridescent Blue Perdigon Body for translucent segmentation and tie off.
Brush the body out with a wire brush, then preen the fibres back over the rib with your finger.
Half hitch, dub a heavier thorax around and between the eyes with longer fibres left in, and whip finish right behind the hook eye. Brush the thorax back into a taper.
