Solarez Bone Dry UV resin Clear uv resin (Head coat)
How to tie it
Slide the bead to the eye and wrap 8 turns of 0.020 lead in behind it; lock the lead with chartreuse thread so nothing slides.
Tie in a tail of purple blood-quill marabou off the side, about one shank length. Dress it heavier for sloppy water, sparser for slow water.
Top the tail with a sparse pinch of lavender Ice Wing fibre, just a few strands poking out the back for extra sparkle.
Tie in two strands of chartreuse Magnum Flashabou, level the shank with the marabou butts, and wrap the flash forward for a bright underbody; tie off.
Load the purple Kool-Aid blend into a wire dubbing brush or dubbing loop, fibers lying perpendicular, and spin it up; brush it out with a stiff brush.
Wrap the brush forward in open turns, just a light hackle, so the chartreuse underbody shows through; tie off behind the bead and trim the leftover brush.
Rub the fibers down, whip finish, and coat the head with Solarez Bone Dry; cure.
Pick the fibers out with a bodkin and brush everything back over the body.
