  • Hook Wide-gape grub hook, 10-12
  • Thread Orange 8/0

Materials

  • Blob fritz Sunburst orange/yellow (body)

How to tie it

  1. Cover the front two-thirds of the shank with thread.
  2. Tie in a length of sunburst blob fritz at the mid-point of the shank.
  3. Wind the fritz forward in touching turns to the eye, stroking fibres back each turn.
  4. Secure and trim the fritz behind the eye.
  5. Whip finish and trim the fritz to a dense round ball.
