Slide the Togens 1/8" Green Magic Tungsten bead to the eye, start the SF Classic Waxed Fl. Green thread behind it and lay a base down the shank.
Pinch the SF 0.55mm Chartreuse Wire flat with smooth flat-jawed pliers (no ridges) so it is no longer round. Lay it along the side of the shank starting at the front and bind it down, carrying it a little around the bend.
Build a thread taper for the underbody, leaving plenty of room behind the bead for the collar work.
Take one turn of wire behind, then bring each following turn up just ahead of the last so a sliver of Fl. Green thread peeks between segments. Stop with room behind the bead and tie off with several good turns.
Tie in the SF Ice Straggle Chenille behind the wire and take a couple of turns. Tie off tight.
Strip the fuzz from a Brown Partridge feather, catch it by the tip on top at about 45 degrees, fold the fibres back and take a couple of turns. Hold the fibres back with thread and snip the stem.
Whip finish behind the bead, coat with Solarez Bone Dry and cure; the fluorescent thread lights up under the resin.
