Tyer Recipe

  • Hook 2-4XL streamer hook, 6-12
  • Thread White 6/0

Materials

  • Ice dub body Pearl/minnow (as needed)
  • Flash Pearl flashabou (few strands)
  • Bead-chain or small dumbbell eyes (optional) Silver bead chain eyes medium (1 pair)

How to tie it

  1. Start thread behind the eye and, if used, secure small eyes at the front.
  2. Wrap thread to above the barb and tie in a few strands of pearl flash.
  3. Dub a shaggy ice-dub body forward to behind the eye, building a minnow taper.
  4. Brush out the dubbing to create a translucent baitfish profile.
  5. Build a small head and whip finish.
