  • Hook Jig hook (60-degree), slotted tungsten bead, #14-18
  • Thread Brown 8/0

Materials

  • Bead Gold bead (1 slotted tungsten)
  • Tail Brown permanent marker (Coq de Leon fibers)
  • Body Hare's ear (Dubbing)
  • Rib Gold middle (Fine wire)
  • Collar Hare's ear (Dubbing)

How to tie it

  1. Slide a slotted bead to the eye and start thread behind it.
  2. Tie in a short Coq de Leon tail at the bend.
  3. Dub a hare's ear body up the shank and counter-rib with fine wire.
  4. Dub a slightly buggy collar behind the bead.
  5. Build a thread dam behind the bead.
  6. Whip finish behind the bead.
