Togens Shadow Dubbing, chopped short Dark shade (generous pinch)
Stainless dubbing-brush wire, fine (1 length)
Head cement (drop)
How to tie it
Slide the 1/8" copper bead onto the curved hook, seat it at the eye, and take eight turns of 0.020 lead wire behind it. Push the lead forward into the bead and build a small thread dam behind it so nothing slides back.
Tie in the brassie-size copper brown wire along the top of the shank, wrapping it down around the bend.
Tie in two strands of dark olive holographic Flashabou and wind them forward together in flat, touching turns to the bead. Tie off.
Take a turn behind, then reverse-wrap the brassie wire forward in open turns to armor the flash body. Tie off. Reverse-wrapped like this it needs no resin.
Tie in the fine stainless dubbing-brush wire, folded back over itself so it cannot pull out.
Chop the dark shade Shadow Dubbing short, load a generous pinch into the wire, and spin it into a brush.
Wrap the brush as a collar behind the bead with plenty of turns, tie off well, and whip finish.
