Pheasant centre tail fibres Dark brown pheasant centre tail fibres (3-4 fibres)
Ice Dub chopped short, blended with Togens Shadow Dubbing Golden brown / light shade (small pinch)

How to tie it
Slide the metallic rainbow bead onto the hook, seat it at the eye, and take 10 turns of 0.015 lead wire tucked in behind it. Start the fire orange thread.
Tie in a short, sparse tail of Coq de Leon fibres around the bend and bind the butts down.
Tie in the #16 peacock/orange Uni Mylar at the rear, orange side up, then tie in the small red wire alongside it.
Tie in the brown pheasant tail fibres by their tips at the rear.
Wind the pheasant fibres forward in touching turns to behind the bead and tie off.
Take four or five open turns of the Mylar forward over the pheasant so the peacock face shows as a flashy rib. Tie off and adjust so the turns are evenly spaced.
Counter-wrap the red wire forward over everything to lock it down. Tie off.
Load the tail end of the wire (or a dubbing loop) with the chopped golden brown Ice Dub and shadow dubbing blend, spin it into a short brush, and wrap a bright collar behind the bead.
Finish with a small band of the fluorescent orange thread at the head, whip finish, cement, and pluck out any overlong collar fibres.
