Slide the 1/8" Coffee Brown slotted bead onto the jig hook and seat it, then wrap a little 0.020 Lead Wire in behind the bead.
Start the 8/0 Brown thread and tie in a fairly sparse bunch of Partridge Fibres at the rear for the tail.
Tie in the 0.3mm March Brown Wire at the rear.
Tie in the Cinnamon Micro Fritz at the rear and wrap it forward, stopping short of the bead to leave room for the thorax. Tie off.
Reverse-wrap the March Brown wire forward in nice wide turns for segmentation; it tones down the sparkle of the fritz just enough. Tie off.
Tie in the Copper Brown Straggle at the back of the thorax area. Wrap it forward to the bead, taking each turn just ahead of the last and pulling the fibres back as you go so you get long legs. Check none of the fibres are trapped under the wraps.
Tie off the Straggle behind the bead and whip finish.
