Tyer Recipe

  • Hook Streamer/jig, 2XL, #6-10
  • Thread Black 6/0

Materials

  • Cone Gold or black cone (1 conehead)
  • Tail Black or olive material (Marabou)
  • Body UV/pearl material (UV fritz or chenille)
  • Flash Pearl flashabou (Few strands)

How to tie it

  1. Slide a conehead onto the hook and start thread behind it.
  2. Tie in a marabou tail about one shank length long at the bend.
  3. Add a few strands of UV flash along the tail.
  4. Wrap a UV fritz or chenille body forward to the cone.
  5. Secure behind the cone and build a thread dam.
  6. Whip finish behind the cone.
