Lay a thread base along the shank and wrap a section of 0.020 lead wire over the middle of the shank (heavier or lighter to suit how you want it to fish).
Cut a clump of olive rabbit hair close off the crosscut hide and tie it in at the bend as a short tail, no flash on this one.
Tie in the small green wire at the bend, and tie in the medium crystal chenille.
Wax the wire, then lay sparse crosscut rabbit hair butts-to-thread between the thread and wire and spin it into a dubbing brush (a dubbing block or loop works if you don't have a rotary/Norvise), winding counter to the wrapping direction so it holds.
Wrap the crystal chenille and the rabbit brush forward together in touching turns (chenille snugged tight to the shank, hair flowing over the top) being careful not to pinch the hair down.
Finish the chenille first, then take one extra turn of the hair brush at the front; tie off both and trim the leftover wire loop.
Preen everything back, build a modest black thread head, whip finish, and apply head cement.
