Slide the 1/8" copper bead to the eye, wrap 10 turns of 0.020 lead behind it, and start the dark brown thread behind the lead.
Stretch the amber swannundaze, warm the tip end with a lighter so it thins, and tie it in just behind the lead, flat side up, binding it down around the bend.
Tie in two strands of chartreuse holographic flashabou and wrap them over the rear shank as a bright underbody; tie off with a half hitch.
Wrap the swannundaze forward in touching turns over the underbody so the chartreuse glows through the translucent rib, and tie it off well with another half hitch.
Color the top of the V-rib body with the dark brown Sharpie.
Tie in the dubbing brush wire (folded back over itself), load it with the soft dark brown flash dubbing, spin it, and take one turn behind and one ahead for the thorax; pick out a little if it looks heavy.
Dub a small pinch of UV2 Diamond Brite peacock right behind the bead to finish the collar.
Whip finish behind the bead and touch up the back with the marker.
Coat the back with head cement or UV resin for durability.
