How to tie it
Slide the red glass bead to the eye, wrap 12 turns of 0.020 lead behind it, and build a small thread dam behind the lead to lock it in.
Pinch off a small amount of Canadian Brown Semi Seal, roll it in your fingers, and tie it in at the bend as a tail about one shank-length long.
Tie in two strands of copper holographic Magnum flashabou at the bend; the thread transition behind the lead lets the body come up even.
Wrap the flashabou forward to the bead as a bright underbody and tie it off.
Tie in the small stainless dubbing-brush wire at the rear, folded back over itself so it can't slip, and throw a half hitch.
Load a tiny amount of Canadian Brown Semi Seal into the wire (2-3 inches of brush is plenty) and spin it up; rough it out with a stiff nylon brush.
Wrap the brush forward in four evenly spaced open turns so the copper underbody shows between segments, preening the fibers back with each wrap; finish behind the bead.
Tie off the wire, whip finish behind the bead, and brush the body out again so the fibers veil the flash.
