Lay a short thread base and tie the 1/8" dumbbell eyes on top of the shank right behind the hook eye, X-wrapping and circling the wraps; they get epoxied at the end.
Rotate or angle the hook to expose the bend and tie in a fine pinch of light brown crosscut rabbit hair right around the bend as a tail, angled slightly upward; trim the butts.
Dub a small ball of burnt orange sparkle dubbing at the bend to imitate the egg sack. It will also flare the legs.
Tie one long barred sexy leg along each side at the bend as antennae, then fold the pale pink silly leg strand around the thread and tie half to each side as legs.
Tie in the coral ice straggle chenille at the bend, along with the fine silver wire (folded back over itself so it can't pull out).
Wrap the straggle chenille forward to just behind the dumbbell eyes and tie it off.
Wax the wire, load it sparsely with light tan rabbit hair, and spin it into a dubbing brush; brush and comb it out.
Wrap the hair brush over the front portion, finishing tight behind the dumbbell eyes so the sparse hair veils the flash beneath, and tie off.
Whip finish behind the eyes and coat the head and eye wraps with epoxy or UV resin.
