How to tie it
Slide the matte black 3/32 bead to the hook eye and wrap a few turns of lead-free wire behind it, tucking them into the bead.
Start the thread behind the wire, lock everything in place, and run a thread base to the bend.
Flatten the black brassie wire slightly with smooth-jawed pliers so it lies against the shank, and tie it in at the bend behind the underbody so the body levels up with the lead.
Tie in a thin strip of blue/black chromie skin at the bend, leaving no ledge. Build a smooth taper first.
Wrap the chromie skin forward in slightly overlapping turns to just behind the bead and tie it off.
Rib forward with the flattened black wire in evenly spaced turns for segmentation, tie off, and whip finish behind the bead.
Coat the body with Bone Dry UV resin and cure it with the light to make it bulletproof.
