Classic Recipe

• Hook Standard nymph, 1x long, 10-14
• Thread Orange/brown 8/0

Materials

• Body Orange wool or yarn (underbody)
• Rib Stripped brown hackle stem or pheasant tail (spiral, wide)
• Hackle Grizzly hackle (1-2 wraps)

How to tie it

1. Mount hook, tie in hackle stem at bend
2. Wrap wool underbody
3. Spiral hackle stem forward as segmenting rib
4. Wrap sparse hackle collar
5. Whip finish
