How to tie it
Slide a bead onto the hook (add a few turns of lead-free wire behind it for weight if desired) and start the thread.
At the bend, tie in a tan marabou tail one shank length long with a few strands of flash.
Tie in the palmering hackle by the tip at the bend, then tie in the chenille/Fritz body material (and fine wire rib if using).
Wrap the chenille forward to the bead and tie off.
Palmer the hackle forward in evenly spaced turns over the body; if using wire, counter-wrap it forward through the hackle to lock it in, then tie off and helicopter off the wire.
Build a thread head behind the bead, whip finish and cement.
