Start the mono thread on the hook and tie in a sparse clump of white bucktail tip hair (about fifteen strands) extending two to two-and-a-half inches off the bend; add a few loose wraps to close it and wet the fibers to remove static.
Tie in a small bundle of lateral-scale/holographic flash, fold it back on itself for a tapered flashy tail, and secure.
Tie in an EP craft fur brush and an EP sparkle brush together, then palmer them forward at the same time to build a bulky, flashy body toward the eye; double each brush back and tie in twice so it can't pull out.
Whip or hold tension, then stack Monster Dub for the head: two sparse clumps on top and two on the bottom, kept vertical, building a tall thin head.
Build a small thread dam behind the eye to push the dubbing back, whip finish, and clip.
Comb and pick out the head, then thin it to a tall aggressive baitfish-head profile.
Saturate the head with Tander (or UV resin), press an 8 mm 3D eye onto each side, and hold with tweezers until set so the eyes sit vertical.
