How to tie it
Lay a meaty base of clear mono thread along the SL12S shank.
Cut a sparse clump of white SF Blend into thirds and stack the pieces for triple density, then tease out the tips to a clean taper. Catch the bundle at its midpoint on top of the shank with three wraps on the same thread path, then work it evenly all the way around the hook like spun bucktail.
Wrap rearward to build a flat thread 'valley,' fold all the fibers back and lash them down over that flat spot (a bullet tie) to flare and taper them; check that the density is even on all sides.
Repeat with a full-length bundle of Big Fly Fiber, tips teased out and caught 60/40 with more length to the rear; spin it evenly around the shank, comb it, then bullet-tie it back over another thread valley. Do two layers for inner bulk.
Hit each tie-down with Zap-A-Gap so the all-synthetic fibers bond into an indestructible core.
Glue a large posted dome eye to each side, just behind the hook eye, with E6000 or Zap Goo, then whip finish and cement the head.
