Inner body Bill's Body Braid, wrapped under the E-Z Body
Body E-Z Body, small
Tail Silver or gold Flashabou (holographic silver in this tying)
Wing Craft fur (Rainey's select): white belly, darker chartreuse on top
Eyes Stick-on eyes
Head UV resin (medium), with super glue to fix the eyes
How to tie it
Wrap Bill's Body Braid forward on the hook shank, leaving a gap behind the hook eye to tie down the E-Z Body.
Cut a section of small E-Z Body about twice the length of the hook shank, weave the hook through it about halfway along on the belly side, and tie it down at the front.
Whip finish and take the hook out of the vise if needed, then take a good bunch of Flashabou, fold and cut it so it is long, and feed it into the rear of the E-Z Body.
Pinch the flash up to the hook bend and wrap thread tightly to secure the rear of the E-Z Body.
Re-secure the hook in the vise and tie the thread on near the front behind the hook eye.
Tie in a very sparse white craft fur wing for the belly, reaching back to about the thread wraps on the E-Z Body.
Tie in a darker chartreuse craft fur on top, slightly longer, just touching the flash tail, then whip finish.
Spread the craft fur with a thumbnail so the white covers the belly and the chartreuse covers the top while the lateral line stays visible.
Put a little super glue on stick-on eyes, fold them like a taco and fix them to the sides of the head.
Coat each eye front and back with medium UV resin, keeping the craft fur taut, then cure it with the light while slowly rotating the fly.
