- Hook 3-4XL streamer hook, 4-10
- Thread Black 6/0
Materials
- Marabou tail Black or olive marabou (1 plume)
- Seal-type dubbing body Black or olive chenille ice dub (as needed)
- Palmered hackle Grizzly or black hackle (1)
- Wire rib Copper wire (1 length)
How to tie it
- Start thread behind the eye and wrap to above the barb.
- Tie in a marabou tail one shank-length long.
- Tie in a hackle by the tip and the wire rib at the rear.
- Dub a shaggy seal-fur body forward to behind the eye.
- Palmer the hackle forward, then counter-rib the wire through it to lock and tie off.
- Build a head and whip finish.
