Slide the bead to the eye, wrap 8-12 turns of lead wire behind it and push them into the bead's recess.
Start thread at the bend and tie in the zonker strip so the fur tail extends one shank length behind the hook.
Add 2-3 strands of pearl Flashabou along each side of the tail, trimmed just past the fur tips.
Tie in a marabou plume by the tip just behind the bead and wrap it like a hackle, 3-4 turns, stroking the fibers rearward each turn. Wrapped marabou pulses with the slightest current, which is the whole fly.
Add a second marabou plume if the collar looks thin; the fly should be all movement, no hard edges.
Dub a short collar of black dubbing to fill the gap behind the bead, whip finish behind the bead.
