Reference Recipe
- Hook Standard streamer/wet hook (TMC 3761 or equivalent), #4-10
- Thread Black 8/0 (70 denier)
Materials
- Body Pink ears (Pink floss or chenille)
- Rib Silver metal tape (Small oval tinsel)
- Wing White uni stretch (Arctic fox tail or calf tail)
- Collar Yellow and hot pink material (Webby schlappen or soft hackle, mixed)
How to tie it
- Mount the hook and start thread at the bend.
- Catch in the oval silver rib at the bend, then wrap a smooth pink body forward to just behind the eye.
- Counter-wrap the rib forward in 5-6 evenly spaced turns and tie off.
- Tie in a sparse white arctic-fox or calf-tail wing over the top, reaching to about the end of the body.
- Wrap a soft collar of mixed yellow and hot-pink schlappen, two or three turns, then sweep the fibers back for a shrimpy, breathing look.
- Build a small head, whip finish and cement.
