Materials

  • Tail #whitingfarms bugger bou black
  • Flash Krystal Flash
  • Body #semperfliflytying ice dub in a dubbing loop
  • Eyes Foam cylinder cut using @upavon_flyfishing cutter tool
  • Resin #semperfli uv resin

How to tie it

  1. Tie in the foam booby eyes at the head with figure-8 wraps and round the ends.
  2. Run the thread to the bend and tie in a marabou tail one shank length long.
  3. Tie in the straggle string at the bend.
  4. Wind the straggle forward in touching turns to the eyes, teasing the fibres out as you go, then figure-8 around the eyes.
  5. Whip finish in front of the eyes and varnish.
