Start pink thread and tie the medium bead chain eyes on at the front of the hook, making sure they are secure.
Take the thread back to the bend. Remove the core ('little piece of rope') from the pearl Minnow Body flash.
Tease out about half a hook length of fibres from the Minnow Body flash and tie them on top of the shank as a tail.
Tie in the pearl flat diamond braid at the tail tie-in point.
Invert the fly. Stretch a short tan or light brown zonker strip, wet the fibres and stroke them straight, and cut a piece about 1 inch long, long enough to cover the body. Trim a tiny bit off the back end.
Lay the back end of the strip under the bend of the hook, stroke the fibres back, and capture it with three tight thread wraps. Lift the strip forward and trim out any caught fibres.
Wrap the thread forward to the eye, then wrap the flat braid forward in a tapered body, going around the eyes a couple of times, and lock it down.
Pull the rabbit strip forward and measure it along the shank, capture it with two tight wraps just behind the eyes, and trim off the front portion of the strip.
Tie in a very small amount of pink craft fur on top.
Tie in two pieces of pearl crystal flash, one on each side, and whip finish. Trim the flash just longer than the craft fur.
Add brush-on super glue to the head and to the exposed thread wraps at the back where the rabbit was tied in.
