Head/collar Spun and trimmed deer hair (small clump)
Tail Marabou or hackle (black/yellow) (short tuft)
Legs Rubber legs (2-3 pairs)
Flash Micro flash (few strands)
How to tie it
On a jig hook, tie in a short marabou or hackle tail plus a few strands of micro flash at the bend.
Add two or three pairs of rubber legs splayed along the rear of the shank.
Spin and pack a clump of deer hair at the front, then trim it to a small sloped slider head; the hair pushes water and helps the fly ride hook-point up.
