How to tie it
Lay a thread base to the bend. Bind a sparse fluorescent-white marabou clump one shank length, then stack roughly double the amount of medium-olive marabou on top for the tail.
Tie in orange palmer chenille and wrap forward to the 60% mark for the underbody; bind and snip. The marabou packed underneath becomes the translucent guts of the minnow.
Add a small olive marabou clump over the top, reaching back to mid-tail, to deepen the back.
Reverse-tie brown-olive dubbing on top and cream dubbing on the belly, wrapping so the fibers flare; sweep back and pinch a stubby minnow head.
Whip finish at the eye and clip. Glue a 5mm ice living eye to each side.
Seal the head with thin UV resin and cure, then a thicker coat over the eyes and cure; trim to a compact, deep bluegill profile.
