  • Hook Wide-gape wet-fly / competition hook, 8-10
  • Thread To match body 8/0

Materials

  • Body Multi-colour 'cocktail' Fritz blend (orange/pink/pearl) (1 length)

How to tie it

  1. Lay a thread base along the shank.
  2. Strip a short length of the multi-colour cocktail Fritz to expose its core and tie it in at the bend.
  3. Wrap the Fritz forward in touching turns, wetting your fingers and stroking the fibers back after each wrap to keep the blob dense and water-pushing.
  4. Tie off behind the eye, cut the Fritz with a blade, form a small head and whip finish.
