Head Semperfli 12/0, Black
Flash Any small flash material (optional)
How to tie it
Slide a small silver bead onto the hook.
Tie in flat tinsel or Flashabou at the bend. Flat tinsel catches light differently than round wire. It creates a broader, flatter flash signature.
Wrap the tinsel forward in smooth, flat turns to the 80% mark. Keep each wrap tight against the last. Gaps in flat tinsel look messy.
Counter-wrap fine silver wire in 4-5 turns for segmentation and to protect the tinsel.
Tie in a tiny wing puff of white CDC or poly, just enough to see on the water.
Whip finish behind the bead.
