How to tie it
Start the Rusty Brown UTC 70 at the 75% point of the shank and wrap back to about halfway down the bend.
Tie in five or six Pheasant Tail fibers at the bend with one turn, pull them through to about half a shank long, then wrap forward over the butts; pull the thread tight so the butts pop off.
Tie in the X-Small Copper Wire and wrap back over it to the base of the tail.
Dub a pinch of Brown Hareline Dubbing, Beaver Dubbing or Superfine Dubbing into a fairly chunky body from the tail base to just short of the eye; pull off any excess dubbing.
Spiral the copper wire forward in evenly spaced turns, bind with a couple of turns and pop it off.
Cut a strip of White 2mm Foam about 2mm square with a square end. Wrap the thread back over the body to the 75% point and tie the foam down there - it compresses into the wraps.
Dub a tiny thin pinch of the same dubbing, start it just behind the eye, dub back to the base of the foam, then forward to end right behind the eye; whip finish and snip off guard hairs.
