How to tie it
Tie in a short sparkle-yarn shuck at the bend to imitate the trailing nymphal husk; this trailing shuck is the pattern's main trigger for selective fish.
Tie in a turkey biot and wrap it forward over the rear two-thirds to form a crisply segmented abdomen.
Stack a small clump of deer or elk hair and tie it in as an upright wing at the front third, then fan it across the top to about 180 degrees like a Comparadun/sparkle-dun wing.
Dub a slim thorax fore and aft of the wing base to lock it upright.
