Tail Hot pink marabou, a small clump about 3/8 to 1/2 inch wide, stripped down to the stem, about shank length

How to tie it
Slide the hot orange bead onto the hook and start the red thread.
Cover the shank with thread down into the bend, just past the point of the flattened barb, then come back up in open turns to the back of the bead.
Strip a small clump of hot pink marabou, stroke off the fluff to leave bare stem and keep the fly slim, and tie it in right behind the bead, securing it down the top of the shank into the bend; pinch it to about the length of the shank.
Tie in the ribbing material on the near side of the shank, tucked in behind the bead.
Trim the red Scud Back to a point and tie it in by the point, give it a good stretch to reduce bulk, secure it down the shank and park it in the material clip.
Tie in gold holographic Mylar and wind it forward in close touching turns to the back of the bead for the underbody; tie off and trim. Spin the bobbin counterclockwise to take the twist out so the thread lies flat.
Wind the Scud Back forward in flat touching wraps, pulling it taut, and tie it off behind the bead; add a couple of whip-finish turns to lock the tie-in so the stretched material cannot spring loose.
Wind the rib forward in open turns, tie it off and break away the excess.
Build a gradual thread thorax up to the rear of the bead and finish with a three-turn whip finish.
Coat the body with brushable crazy glue, trim any bristles, and coat the bead too if wanted while keeping it off the marabou tail.
