Start the Black thread and lay a base back to the start of the bend.
Tie in the Jungle cock body feathers (or badger hackle) one at a time, one on each side, with a couple of loose wraps first so they do not spin, so the tail splays outward. Keep the stems parallel along the sides of the shank so the underbody stays smooth, then snip them where they thicken.
Catch in the Silver wire rib.
Catch in the Flat silver Mylar tinsel with the silver side toward the hook; use the flat tinsel to smooth over any bumps from the feather stems and wire.
Advance the thread to the halfway or two-thirds point and wrap the tinsel forward in touching, non-overlapping turns to the thread; bind off.
Counter-wrap the Silver wire rib over the tinsel body only and bind off - it does not run through the thorax.
Catch in the Black or badger rooster hackle at the front of the tinsel body.
Strip a little Black chenille to bare core, catch it in behind the hackle, put the first turn behind the hackle stem and wrap forward to one eye-length behind the eye; bind off with a few wraps to smooth it.
Palmer the hackle forward, seating each turn down between the chenille wraps close to the hook so the stem is protected from teeth; bind off with a couple of wraps.
Push the fibers back, build a fairly large head, whip finish, then trim the excess feather and add a drop of head cement.
