Polywog tail (Hareline) Black with hot-spot (1 clump)
Squishenille (UV) Black ostrich herl (1 length)
Round rubber legs Black ostrich herl (2-3 strands)
How to tie it
Start the thread just behind the eye and add a drop of super glue on the shank for grip.
Lay the booby foam eyes across the shank at the front and lock them with figure-eight wraps, then add cross wraps underneath and crank tight.
Move the thread to the bend and tie in the polywog tail so it extends about one shank length past the bend.
Tie in the squishenille just in front of the tail and wrap it forward with touching turns to just behind the eyes; tie off.
Tie in rubber legs on each side just behind the eyes, sweeping them back, then take a wrap or two behind the eyes to pack the body and lock the eyes in place.
Trim the excess legs, sweep the front fibers back, whip finish at the eye of the hook and cement.
