Hook Stinger/streamer hook (Gamakatsu B10S or Ahrex equivalent), 2-6
Thread Fire orange 140 denier
Materials
Painted lead dumbbell eyes (medium)
Barred rabbit strip White/brown/yellow mix (tail)
Sili Legs / rubber legs
Senyo's Laser Dub (head)
Super glue / Zap-A-Gap
How to tie it
Start the thread about a hook-eye length behind the eye; tie in the lead dumbbell eyes with figure-eight wraps, then a few over-and-under wraps pulled tight to cinch them, and wrap back to a consistent point on the shank.
Measure a barred rabbit strip against its skin side so the hair is just longer than the shank; fork the hook point through the strip from the skin side (so the fly rides hook-up), settle it onto the shank, and tie it down where the hide meets the hair.
Wrap the rabbit-strip tag forward twice around the shank to build a tapered, breathing baitfish body that is fuller top and bottom.
Tie in rubber legs along the sides of the body.
Spin/dub a Senyo's Laser Dub head at the front, brush it out, whip finish, and cement (this final head step is per the recipe list; the video cuts off just before it).
