  • Body Brown drake tan-brown (Dubbing)
  • Rib Yellow mcflylon (Fine tying thread)

How to tie it

  1. Mount the hook and start the thread mid-shank.
  2. Run the thread to the bend and split a tail of moose fibers, one shank length long.
  3. Post an upright clump of hi-viz poly yarn at the 65% mark for the parachute wing.
  4. Bind in the yellow rib thread, then dub a tan-brown body from the tail to the post.
  5. Spiral the yellow rib forward in 4-5 turns for segmentation and tie it off at the post.
  6. Wind the brown and grizzly hackles together 4-5 turns down the post, parachute style, and pin the tips.
  7. Sweep the hackle back, build a small head, and whip finish.
