How to tie it
Start the thread a half hook-eye length behind the eye and build a thread base.
Pass a piece of 6X nylon through the midge-size bead, double it over and tie it in just behind the eye with the nylon pointing toward the eye; pull it tight.
Pull the nylon legs so the bead props up, then take one wrap on the near leg, bring the far leg in front of the bead, and pull both to seat the bead.
Take a couple of wraps under the bead so it stands proud, then trim the excess nylon.
Tie in extra-small copper UTC wire just behind where the nylon was tied.
Move the wire to the top of the hook, wrap it down to where the hook starts to bend, then back up in even turns, and helicopter the wire off.
Dub a thin rope of brown Antron for the thorax and wrap it forward.
Whip finish in front of the eye with two or three turns and trim the thread.
